I asked where my creativity had gone and it has returned. I feel the urge to write on both my Wonderlust blog and Mireille Parker site. Be my wonderlusting self. Retro Mi. Shannah’s been so into it that it got me thinking. Now I have no distractions. Now I have all this energy.
Yesterday I trailed Fremantle, ate a crepe with lentils and cheese from the markets. Yes even though I’m not supposed to. I didn’t even get the gluten-free or wholemeal batter, not even. I wanted to experience the chewy. I love my life. It started at the café, cutting and pasting IRL, creating my India visual diary.
It continued down High Street to Jungle Bird. I came upon a surprise 50th birthday party full of captains. The speech was very moving. I drank chocolate chai in the corner, feeling toasty behind the window, and wrote my thoughts in coloured pens, drawing a bubble around each one, making it pretty. There was something about this, the space between. I’d bought two books.
